Lee powder measures Cont

The Lee cylindrical hopper has a replaceable soft plastic wiper which if kept clean won't leak.
It replaces and interchanges with the earlier rectangular style having a hard plastic to hard plastic sliding joint that can leak thin flake powders when worn.
Try the new hopper before chucking the Lee powder measure.

  I tried a Lee with the elastomer wiper, ball powder like H-110 still leaked out of the measure.

  I just checked my Lee and, yes there are some loose grains of Unique on the bench but not enough to offset the practicability of the measure.

  I'm willing to accept a little dribbling vs the cost factor. Mine(I have 5 of them) all leak to some extent especially with flake powder or the finer ball powders. I have ocassional problems with getting bits of powder in the rotating assembly which creates drag and requires disassembly and cleaning to restore smooth function. I notice this most often when using pull down WCC844 in my modified turret press I use for .223(probably because I run more rounds through this setup than the others).
