COTW states that RCBS makes dies for it, but in the 11th Edition I have handy there are no dimension drawings for the .450 Marlin or the .458x2 American to see if these die sets are possibly compatible. I do know the .450 uses a slightly wider ("taller?") belt than the "standard" sized ones like the .458 will have, but that's the only real dimensional difference (other than case length) I can name off the top of my head.

Try Cartridges of the World or Cartridge Conversions for reference loads.

The 4th Edition of COTW has about 3/4 of a page on the history and 4 cast bullet loads plus 8 for jacketed. The jacketed loads use 4198 and HiVel (must be really old data). I have a P.O. Ackley 458-350 Rem Mag ( more or less a 458 x 2.170 )built on a 600 Rem (5.25 pounds) with loading data from the CCI lab. All my loads are for 4198 with the note that 3031 is too slow and 4227 is too fast. I also have a 45-70 built on a mexican small ring mauser.
