    EDIT #1, There's one from Remington on the left side of this pic. I personally don't recall seeing any Winchester marked M-N's?

    Any chance of the US made guns being better quality or looks of the finished rifle?

    Dave, the US made rifles had a better fit and finish, and had walnut stocks. I don't know of any Winchester made Mosins, but they did supply the model 1895 chambered in 7.62x54 to the Czar.

    Winchester didn't make them, just Remington and NEW. As well as the Russian arsenals, of course.

    Also Chatellerault, a French manufacturer of miltary arms.

    Sako made them also... with a .308 bore & short throat.

    Sako and Valmet re-barreled and rebuilt them, but they never made receivers.
