Are the Lefever Nitro 12 ga and 16 ga on the same size frame? I am considering fitting a set of 16 ga barrels on a 12 ga frame.

  That's a good question for which I don't have the answer. If you have the frame and the 16 ga barrels, I would try to see if they fit and lock up. I have a 16 ga and the measurement scross both barrels at the chamber end is 2.205" (about 2-3/16")
