M1 barrel ID

I picked up a real nice barrel for the M1 Garand but don't recognize the manufacture it's stamped B. Sid 541954 anyone know who made it? (I don't think it's a Beretta) thanks in advance

  I think that's the Breda Italian state arsenal.
