Replacing SKS safety #2
Is there a certain way to remove the pin? Right to left or left to right? I can't seem to get it to budge.

Most likely it's a interference fit, or staked, not meant to be removed.
You would alter a pin punch of the proper diameter to be as short as possible. Use it only as a starter punch, to just break the pin loose.
Very carefully apply pinpoint heat to the area around the pin. Then use the shortened punch. Hope for the best.0 -

If it's Chinese, it's most likely staked like Rufe said. Pins drive left to right. 0 -
