Navy Arms 1851 replica by Uberti
I just got a very early NA replica model 1851 Colt revolver made by Uberti. The serial number is 368X. It is nearly new and show no evidence of firing. The assembly numbers all match. The interesting thing is that the cylinder has no roll engraved scene on it. Has anyone seen a similar pistol?

The blank cylinder was common on the 60s and early 70s guns. I've got a few of them in both brass and steel frames with half round and octagonal barrels.
When was yours made & what frame & barrel does it have?0 -
It is a steel frame with octagon barrel. It looks like a very good copy of the original. I do not know how to determine the year of Mfg. 0 -
This should help determine date:

Uberti also made some blank cylinders in the 80s and 2000s. I've got a 2004 and 2007 L&R with a blank cylinders and a 1989 G&G with a blank cylinder. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for when or what pistols had blank cylinders.0
