The countries known to have produced 50 BMG ammunition without a headstamp include:

Australia
Austria
Belgium
Brazil
Columbia
Denmark
France
Germany
Israel
Italy
Netherlands
New Zealand
Norway
Saudi Arabia
Singapore
Slovenia
South Africa
Spain
Sweden
Switzerland
United Kingdom
United States

This is probably not an all-inclusive list and includes examples of case draws, steel, and aluminum cases as well. The US alone has produced several dozen different 50 BMG cartridge types which did not have a headstamp. They could also be reloaded cases.

  Kynoch, late 70s. Berdan. Non-Corr.
  
  J&G had some briefly from Century about 18 mos ago for 159.95 for 80rds.

  Kynoch is one of the known manufacturers of 50 BMG without headstamp in the United Kingdom.

  And that is indeed what it turned out to be, Kynoch, late 70s, non-corr. BERDAN primed, factory ammo. By all accounts, high quality and safe.
