folks i inherited a beautifull pigeon grade 21 20 guage.the gun looks new.my dad bought it in 1963.anyone have an idea of value,or whre i could go to get a range of what gun is worth thanks for any help

  for an accurate apprasial you would need to submit closeup detailed photos.

  AROUND $15,000- depending STRONGLY on exactly which gun, box, accessories, condition, etc ad infinitum. Would strongly suggest a hands on appraisal by a experienced firearms appraiser- a few of which hang around here. Value is far beyond standard homeowner's insurance coverage for firearms.

  There's a 28 ga pigeon on Guns Interntl for $30K; but that may not be the price at which it would sell. The high end gun market is hard to predict.

  A Pigeon Grade Model 21 20-Ga in like new condition is worth considerably more than $15K. What it is ultimately worth is difficult to say, as it is not possible to predict what a deep pocketed collector would be willing to pay for it.

  Get a copy of the Double Gun Journal and contact some of the high end gun advertisers. Be ready to furnish pictures.
