Winchester 86 ?

I lhave a 86 Win made in 1892. As bought the gun has a carbine butt stock, no saddle ring and a 22" round barrel in 40-65 win. Does this sound as if it has been rebarreled at some time or could it be origional. I know I can letter it if necessary but I am not a member of WCA and this is not a high end collectors piece, however the bore is excellent+.
