Robinson XCR
Hi All, I was looking at these guns. One auction I seen a guy said about a bolt upgrade? Was this a problem with them? Also in his pictures I noticed two nuts on the side of the gun I didn't see on others. I didn't know what that was for, did it have something to do with the upgrade? Auction # 297304118. Any info would be of great help. They were just something I thought about buying. PS I also seen some reference to Robar and Robinson, are they connected?

Is the Robinson XCR still manufactured and can you get parts for older XCR's? 0 -
I think Robinson makes great guns, I have their M 96 Expeditionary folding stock carbine and love it - reliable, well made and accurate. I can't comment on the ACR bolt, but Robinson customer service is pretty much non-existent. Nice people, but for whatever reason getting parts or upgrades is a challenge. My approach when buying one of their rifles is that however it comes is how it stays unless there are aftermarket parts available.
I plan on buying an ACR as soon as I can find one is the configuration I want.0 -

Kind of interesting those "nuts"? your referring to, in the photo. The way their reflecting light in the photo, they appear to be either stainless steel or nickel plated. I would flat out contact the seller and make inquiries about them, prior to bidding.0 -
It would be better if the idiot put the pictures in his auction right side up, instead of upside down and sideways [?]
NO, Robar and Robinson are not connected other than maybe Robar doing some finishes for them.0
