was typing to fast i have been doing this 31 years..they altered the mailing part with hand writen change not the premises area on lic..they said they have been doing this a long time cause they get people sending guns to the mailing address not thier lic premises address..they faxed me a unaltered FFL so i was good to go..i know they could get in problems doing this..i know when i am right but the idiots arguments start to cloud me mind[:0]

i had gone out to do some things and when i go back the message light was blinking ALOT both the buyer and transfer FFL were trying to clear things up[:D]but all good even buyer called to apoligize after being an azzhat[:0] 0 -

It would depend on what you mean by "altered" -- if it was something like circling and writing a note to be sure an item was not sent to the wrong address, that would be one thing. If it's blacking out information so it's not legible, that would be another -- but even then, so long as the change was to "help" clarify -- and was not any attempt to get a firearm shipped illegally -- I don't see any reason to get so upset as to call them "idiots."
All they are doing -- while it may be breaking certain rules -- is trying to make sure the law is followed and the firearm is shipped to the proper address.
