I was going to buy the DAO because it was cheap, but you're right, better to buy a DA/SA instead, thanks.0 -
FYI, the P229 is great if you have medium-to-long fingers, but you will have a difficult time shooting it if your fingers are short.
And, Hogue replacement grips are thicker than stock grips, & require long fingers.

Also, their newer 'E2' grip style has a smaller profile than the two piece panels, but it can be installed on the standard type grip frame.0
