Sig P229, DAO to SA/DA trigger?

Is it an easy fix to convert a Sig P229 from double action only to tradtional double action?

  I was going to buy the DAO because it was cheap, but you're right, better to buy a DA/SA instead, thanks.

  FYI, the P229 is great if you have medium-to-long fingers, but you will have a difficult time shooting it if your fingers are short.
  
  And, Hogue replacement grips are thicker than stock grips, & require long fingers.
