ruger lc9 front sight

Can anyone tell me if their Ruger LC9 has a problem with the front sight coming loose?

  Yes they sure have. Over on the Ruger forums there are plenty of threads on it. Just call Ruger in the morning and they will fix it for free. The fix has generally been you send your slide in and it comes back with a roll pin keeping the front sight in place.

  On my Ruger LC9, which is a Talo limited edition, the front sight is dovetailed in. The sight itself, looks to be of the MIM type manufacture. I have not had a problem, and have about 500 rounds thru it.
