Anschutz Single Shot Bolt

I have a single shot Anschutz Mannlicher .22. I have posted here before with regards to the weapon. I have a question about the bolt. It seems that the rear end of the bolt is adjustable to compensate for the thickness of the cartridge rim. Or at least it seems that way. If you turn it to far counter clockwise you will not get a strike. And depending on how much it is turned clockwise determines if the spent cartridge is ejected correctly.
Does anyone have any insight to this? Any information is appreciated. Here is a picture of the bolt:

    I've looked for the hidden message and can't find it. That's all great but what about the bolt? Any idea.

    Help is always appreciated. I didn't realize it was difficult question.

    I just want to know if the bolt shown in the photo is adjustable for the strike of the firing pin. This is the first Anschutz I've owned and it appears this bot is adjustable. If you turn the back end of the bolt to far counter clockwise you will not get a firing pin strike. And depending on how much it is turned clockwise determines the strike of the firing pin and if the spent cartridge will eject correctly.

    So when I asked Does anyone have insight to this? I meant just that. Can someone elaborate? I have never owned a rifle with a bolt that was adjustable for firing pin strikes. If someone could comment with any information on this I would appreciate it. Thanks

    The thinkness of the firing pin is the head space on a twenty two so I don't think there is any adjustment there. Firing pins wear out after a time and this may be an adjuctment for that wear.
