H & R Arms, Model 922 Revolver

I aquired a H & R Arms Model 922 Revolver. It belonged to my Great Grandfather. I'm trying to find out when it was made. The serial # is 124939. It is a 9 shot, has the Octagon Barrel, and does not have the Saw Handle Grip. Thanks for any help.

  I'm not 100% sure, but I'm thinking 1927. First Model.
