Which Colt Revolver will these Wood Grips fit ????

    With the Gold Medallions, they appear to be the 3rd type Colt Python stocks; mid 70's on.

    You're welcome, but like I mentioned, they appear to be Colt Python stocks! [:D]

    nyforester: Look like std factory grips for a Python. They were replaced with some after market grips that are cut back on left side for a speed loader. Very common thing to do. I do that and keep the orginals with the last 4 digits of serial number written on inside. When it comes time to sell, I can switch back.

    Since there's no money involved (not mine anyway[;)]) I'll say those are definitely factory of the mid - 70's. The straight top edge of the checkering pattern below the medallion marks a change from the preceding "half moon" style.

    Hard to tell the size from the photo. If not Python, might be Diamondback.
