Lefever Nitro Special 410

Just got a Lefever Nitro Special in 410, serial #260514. I know it was made between 1921-1948. Can someone narrow it down a bit?

  I have had this guns for years. I got it from my Grandma when my Grandpa died. I don't know much about guns, I stick to guitars and music. I have looked into selling it before, but I don't know the best way to proceed. The whole FFL and shipping the thing around the country sounds like a hassle. The gun is in fair shape at best. I do have quite a few pics.
  
  What would yield the best sales price?
  
  Take it to a gun show and take bids?
  Put it for auction on Gunbroker/{elsewhere}?
  I have even thought about trading it at a pawn shop for guitars.
