FNP 9mm magazine springs

Well, Im sure some of you know about the issues with the weak mag springs in the FNP guns that dont always allow them to lock back when empty. Does anyone know where to get replacement springs (manufacture dosnt have them...new mags only) or a place that will make a custom spring? The new mags are like 40 bucks...kinda steep I think.

If I stretch them out, they work just fine....problem is, after loading each mag a few times...they shrink back up.[V]

  You might contact Wolff Gunsprings. Although they don't have any springs for FNP guns listed, many magazine springs are dimensionally similar. Perhaps if you contacted them with your request, and sent them a spring from your pistol, they could use one of their other springs as a replacement.

  Have you asked FNH about swapping out your mags? I had the same issues with some Steyr mags. They sent new springs the first time, and later swapped them out.

  I purchased the gun used...not new, so I dont think Im going to get much help from FNH they didnt seem to know anything about the spring issues? I thought that was odd. I suppose I will have to call wolff on monday. They dont seem to make anything for this pistol, but maybe they will be able to find something that can work.

  Just a little update on this topic as I have finaly resolved the issue.
  
  1) I think FNH customer service may not be that great. When I called and asked them about the issue, they said no issue existed, a simple google search will tell you otherwise. After mor personal research, I found that there was an updated design to the followers that helped correct the problem. Again I contacted FNH, they said no updated follower existed. I then ordered two new magazines from my local gun store. The two new mags both had different followers than the original mags with a higher shelf to raise the slide lock lever higher.
  
  2) For those who are wondering, the springs from the FNX9 magazines work just fine in the FNP9 mags. Yes the spring makes it a little tight to load the last three rounds, but the magazine functioned fine in my wifes pistol (I ran five mags through it which I know is not the best test but there was not a single hiccup).
  
  3) FNH still has yet to respond to the email I sent them last Friday about the issue, I was polite and trying to be helpful to them about the issue letting them know my findings.
  
  Now that I have the new followers in my wifes mags. her pistol now seems to function flawlessly and accurately putting over a hundred rounds through the pistol without a single malfuntion or failure of any kind.
