colt lightning 32-20 carbine
I have the above carbine just given to me in pretty rough shape. Bore is good. Wood is good. Balance pretty bad. No bluing remains only a greenish colored metal throughout with mostly minor surface rust but a couple pitted areas. The action seems to work.
I think I may use this as a winter project to restore. Anyone have a idea where I could download disassembley info?

Not the easiest rifle to work on and don't loose any parts. Ther is also one part that when worn will let you unlock the bolt yet still fire the gun [V][xx(][:(]double click on my user name and send me a email if you want a way to check for this worn part . Many of the 32-20 bores are over size and will no properly spin the bullet. 0 -
Too bad Colt didn't put the 32-20 on a smaller frame. 0
