Series 70 Trigger - Blue or Nickel?
The earlier discussion on whether nickel Combat Commanders from the '70s came with nickel or blue triggers led me to dig out some of my other Colts. So my question this time is "did blue Series 70 .45s come with nickel or blue (or either depending on how the assembler at Colt felt that day) triggers? There is no way to know though to what degree the guns pictured here are in original factory configurations. Does anyone know if Colt had a policy? Thanks much.

Ther gold cup has a different trigger then Government models All Gold Cups triggers are wider and are polished IN THE WHITE on the sides all the blued government models I have ever owned came with Blued triggers . However most after market triggers that have adjustment screw for over travel are made with Aluminum finger piece. 0
