Will a buttstock from a Winchester 1886 fit an early 1892?

I think an early '94 stock will fit a '92 but don't know for sure and don't know the cutoff time for "early."
Expert help needed.

Pre-war Model 1892 and Model 1894 stocks are interchangeable, but keep in mind that each stock was hand fit to the receiver for which it was intended.

My 1892 is a 24" rifle with a 638xxx ser number made in 1912

It is interchangeable with a Model 1894 of the same vintage.
