just bought a S&W 30-1 s.# H126xx 2" snubbie
could someone tell me what year it was made and
I know it is a 32 s&w long, i was told that you can also shoot 32 auto
in it

You CAN shoot .32 Auto but not well.
The semi-rim might not extract, the undersize jacketed bullet won't be as accurate as correct ammo.
Something to do if the zombie was getting close, not for routine shooting just because they have .32 ACP at cheapmart.0 -

You CAN use .32 S&W (aka S&W Short) with no problems, just less power. The .32 ACP is for an auto-loader and has a very small rim that won't engage your extractor star and the FMJ slug will be undersize for your barrel. 0 -
I just picked up a 30-1 at auction a couple months ago. Have not had a chance to shoot it yet. I agree with fuelie. Stick with .32 S&W and .32 S&W Long. Shooting .32 ACP in it would be like shooting .45 ACP in a .45 Colt revolver, not a good match-up. 0 -
