s&w 19-4 ???

i have a s&w 19-4 s/n 124K340 bright nickel finish. it has a recessed cylinder but does not have the pinned barrel. is this normal for a 19-4. could someone give me an approximate dom. thanks.

  Made 1981. In '82 with the 19-5 they took the counter bore and pinned barrel away. They most likley had some recessed cylinders but no frames or pinned barrels left when your late '81 19 was built.
