Maltby & Henley Revolver Question.

    I googled "Maltby & Henley .32 safety hammer revolver" and there is one for sale for $500 elsewhere so it might be worth fixing. From the pictures it appears the hand works the same as a colt or smith.

    Perhaps a patent search, some of the old stuff had nice scale drawings.

    If you do a patent search, look for Otis A. Smith the maker, as Maltby, Henley & Co. were only agents.

    Also, correct nomenclature is Spencer Safety Hammerless.

    "For sale" @ $500 is a long way from sold, and Flayderman lists value of $175 for Very Good condition.
