Hey guys could you help settle a dissagreement? Did Remington ever produce a factory 140 grain load for this caliber. Remington websight does not list it. Just a friendly discusion among friends.

  Has anyone seen any info on effects of barrel length for the 300 Remington Ultra Mag. The two in question are the 24" and the 26".

  i am thinking 150 gr. for the 300, 140 for the 7mm

  I don't believe Remington ever handled 140 grain 30 caliber bullets, in any of their 30 caliber cartridges. However, that is not saying that someone like Federal, or Black Hills, might not have loaded some of the Barnes 30 caliber 140 grain "X", or TSX bullets.
