  Loading 6x45mm from fired 223 cases takes no more effort than reloading the 223 brass. I bought a 16" barrel and dies a while back and got very good accuracy from it.It recoils about the same as 223.
  Revisiting the cartridge in an article recently, showed one really needs barrel more length (up to 24") for best velocity.
  I haven't chronographed my 6mmx45 yet.

  I have a 6mm TCU on a remington 700 with a 20 inch barrel. Very accurate and a pleasure to shoot. Have taken (my wife and I and children) several deer and antelope with this rifle. Works great on small game/varmits also.
  Though the 6x45 would be great to have on my AR.
