    Love that two piece top strap. Reminds me of my dads 1902 Alaskan/Phillipines in 45 Colt.

    Yep it doesn't have the big trigger and guard but I couldn't remember the orginal 1878.

    Colt Model 1878 "Frontier" Double Action, with funky oversize homemade grips. (Not the Alaskan model, which has an oversize trigger guard)

    Would help if they'd mention the caliber...
