    In order to remove the base pin-correct name for the part, you must remove the pivot pin, and the pivot pin screw. (part numbers 24/25). Remove the screw, drive the pin carefully out the opposite side, and remove the barrel assembly from the frame.

    Then, you will have to remove the extractor cam and notch (part No. 13), in order to free the basepin. The extractor cam protrudes up and into a rectangular opening on the bottom of the basepin.

    The basepin is now free to unscrew*. Best, Joe


    *Extreme caution is to be used. Basepin is easily crushed under pressure from using pliars to remove
