    Yes, you can build it into a non-NFA legal configuration, then convert it after the fact (once you have your tax stamp in hand).

    I really want to keep it as original as possible but didn't want to waste money on it in case it ended up not working. Now i will get started on it!

    Well, I've seen sten kits offered for several years, but I thought I'd wait for someone to say, "I've built one & it works fine; this is how I did it, & here are the photos."

    I'm still waiting. I'm not saying it hasn't been done, I'm just saying I don't want to end up with a couple hundred dollars worth of parts in a box.

    Well I have seen a few semi detailed build guides( more chronicles of the people building them) on the internet. Go to google and search semi auto sten and some stuff comes up. Weaponeer has some good stuff and if u search it on you tube there is a guy milling and riveting his and test firing it later. When I start I will try to picture and video what I can and post it for others to look at.
