agawam arms 22

A local paper has an Agawam arms 22lr single shot gun that looks like a Win 94. he does not know much about it and neither do I Any thoughts? Thanks.

  That rifle sounds like a similar gun, the Ithaca 49, single shot. Savage also made a similar rifle. I believe that Agawam made them for just a couple of years. GevarmGunNut, who is a member, here (but under a different handle), posted what he knows about them, here:

  I have a Agawan,and ithaca,had a stevens and savage,the agawan has a steel reciever and the others dont,alloy or pot metal. it has a better fit also.tks hedge[:D]
