1955 Winchester 94 w/ Lyman sights
I bought a Winchester 94, (1955 MFG) w/ Lyman sights and shoulder strap this morning. Barrel is mirror like. Wood is almost perfect w/ one tiny dent in the fore-end. The blueing is deep blue perfect w/ no scratches. The action locks up tight. It's in 30-30 caliber. Without revealing how much I paid for it, and without posting a picture, who wishes to venture a value based upon the information above. I'll get a pic in later today..

ADDED: rufe-snow makes a big point, and one that I failed to make note about. Still, $450 is a great buy for one with swivels and in excellent+ condition.0 -
Well with such limited information and not sure what the reasoning is unless you are either trying to say that you got a great deal or want to find out if you did...From my information they can go anywhere from $395 to $1995+ but are not necessarily limited to that margin and usually seem to go for about $600 to $900 on average so it would seem. Although everything depends on several factors including the condition, the dom, originality, box and any included paperwork and such, any appreciable or non-appreciable customizations, prior 'celebrity' owner with verified papers, etc... 0 -

"Shoulder Strap" to me denotes that the stock has been drilled for sling swivels. Obviously the end of the magazine also has to have been altered for same. Sight unseen it's difficult to access how this would affect collectors value, but it definitely would. Some of the collectors I use to deal with wanted guns absolutely factory original, this would be a deal killer to them.

Yes it was drilled for a swivel in the stock and the front fore end band has the proper swivel attachment. I only bought it b/c it was $450 and couldn't resist at that price for a pre 64. I like the Lyman sights and will likely be a shooter for me not a collectible. I'll get a picture up. 0 -

No bioxes, papers etc. Just a nioce pre 64 94..I am looking to see if I was in the ball park when I paid $450... I'll get a pic up...0 -
