The model number should be stamped on the cylinder frame cutout. If not those pictures don't show enough detail.

That gun won't have a model number on it. Even from the limited pictures I can see it was made before 1957, the year Smith started using model numbers.

S&W didn't assign model numbers until the very late 1950's. The gun in the pics predates this practice.

Prior to this time they used model names, but it wasn't placed on the gun itself.

Based on the serial number, I believe it is what the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson describes as a "Military & Police Model of 1905, 3rd change", made 1909-1915.
