The last question I asked was answered nicely. And to the guy questioning the result as not good accuracy of 90 grain in 30 caliber I only have ot be accurate for 25 feet length of house. Thank you sir for your response.
I want dies and slugs for everything I own. My favorite gun dealer knows me way too well and as I was purchasing a Rock Island 45, he asked if I would buy a 25 auto if he marked it down $40. Well we all know it is a sterotype as a woman I had to buy it! You can barely hit the ground with it.
I have dies for 25 auto, need dies for 32 acp and slugs for same. This idea fits the current politcal posture. If the anti-gun nuts can't take them all away from you the will make ammo too expensive. The dies for 25 acp I have need slugs. For 32 acp I need dies and slugs. I don't expect to load more than 100 each as they are only fit as a contact weapon. Or pop a few at the bad guys or zombies while I get a real gun.

I've owned both 32 S & W & 25 dies in the past. The 32's came in handy because they were carbides and I could jury-rig them for loading various European 30 caliber cartridges.
The 25's were a waste of time and money, I.E. way to much aggravation. The standard load was just a little over one grain of fast burning powder. Given the miniscule sights and crappy trigger pulls on the vest pockets, it was a waste of money, time and effort. Do yourself a favor use the money to buy extra ammo, forget loading for the 25. Doubtful the 32 ACP would be much different.
If your still bound and determined to go the reloading route. Buy the components and dies from one of the big on-line retailers, for availability and saving money.0 -
Out of thirty two and twenty five, get yourself some bullet molds. MV will always be less than 1000fps and you can always make slugs that work fine. 0 -

I have to say, that I do admire your tenacity. Not many, if any of us guys that have been reloading for years, would wish that chore upon anyone, especially ourselves.
That said, if you don't have a press, powder scale, loading blocks, and a good priming device, you will need these also.
Midway USA, should have everything you need to get you started.
Personally, what it would cost you for the basic starter kit, you could buy about 10 boxes of each. Might be something to think about.
On another note, I hate to see anyone be under gunned. I see you got yourself a RIA 1911. Good Girl! I would also recommend to replace the 32, with a 9mm of around the equivilant size, like a Ruger LC9, or a Kahr PM9. Much more gun, and guess what...for the price you pay for 10 boxes of 25, or 32 ACP, you can get 15-20 boxes of 9mm. Just some food for thought.

Reloading 32 ACP and especially 25 ACP is not for everyone. Measuring 1 grain of powder with equipment accurate to plus or minus .1 grain gives a possible variation of 20%. Patience & attention to detail is required for these small rounds. "Defensive" (hollow point) bullets are also pretty useless in these small calibers. 0 -
I have a Walther PP in 32ACP and even though all I would need are dies and the shellholder, after reading about reloading this caliber (and 25ACP), I decided to just buy a box or two every year or so in these calibers.
It seems it can be a headache.0 -
Ms. Girl wants the dies, and brass, etc just in case the shelves go bare down at the local gunshop.
Her money. Her good thinking.
Best you buy the dies and shell-holders, and a bullet mould to make your own 'slugs' (your description).
And you can continue to by off the shelf rounds until you have enough empty brass from your fired rounds, and Voila! Reloading beats a good therapist any day!
Now, and with all that said, the best thing is to start reloading for the .45ACP. That's where you will see the most return for your investment. Joe0 -
You can get the dies just about everywhere. The 3 die Lee Carbides are $27.50-$30 a set. They do not make a final crimp die (which I recommend) for the .25ACP or .32 ACP.
Therefore, watch your crimp amount and assure you check each round in the chamber of the gun (hopefully the barrel is out of the gun).
As stated above by many, the .25 ACP is not easy due to the small size and amounts. I assume you already know how to reload and have the equipment, if not, don't start with the .25 ACP. Lee also makes the simple Hand load set (if you don't have equipment) which is really slow, but it works. Projectiles are available on line from many sources or at a local gun show.

I've been shooting the Speer 100gr. "Plinkers" out of my Walther PP for years. Finding the right load for POA took some time.
Since I load for other .30/.32 handgun rounds, bullets that don't work out in one get used in another.0
