Browning citori want to swap stock
How much work would be involved and what chance of success would I have if I tried to swap the stock from two very similar browning citori. I own one with stunning wood grade 5. I see a grade 6 for sale ported and with invector chokes not so great wood. Im thinking of buying the grade six and swaping the wood. Is this a bad / stupid idea?

I think the only problem that you would have is if they are different tang lengths. There might also be fit issues close to the receiver. 0 -
Back in the days of HAND fitting I would not attempt what you are thinking about doing [:(] However today with most machine work done on CNC devices, I think more then likely If the two guns were produced somewhere near the same year you could swap stocks and most likely they would "FIT LIKE A GLOVE" [:)] 0
