Remington model 12 breech block
Will a Remington model 12CS (rem special or WRF) breech block work in a standard model 12a (short, Long or Long Rifle)? There obviously has to be design differences in the 12CS to accommodate the larger cartridge. What is the difference in design?

Interesting question. The parts list shows two types of firing pin bolts and action bars different for special vs regular.

The rim of .22WRF is also wider diameter so I'd think there'd be some difference in the extractor or it's travel? 0 -
