Ithaca SKB 600 Help

I have an Ithaca SKB model 600, I have seen many with blued receivers heavily engraved but have not seen any like the one I have, it has a nickle like receiver silver in color heavily engraved. Anyone know which one this is? cannot figure out how to post pics, so if you would like to see any, email me directly and I can send them to you

  If I recall - and my books are gone - the SKB 500 was blue, the 600 was white finished, probably nickel or chrome.
  I used to see a bunch of them and did not consider them unusual.

  There was quite a lot of variation in the finish of the SKB's made for Ithaca. I have a couple of 100's--one with a good bit of engraving and one with very little. I have a 200 that has a blued receiver and my friend had one that was in the white. I used to razz him when we were hunting with, "When are they going to finish the rest of your gun?"
