Curio and Relic License????
Is it worthwhile getting a Curio and Relic license.It seems as if the guns you buy using it you must keep.I like to buy,sell and trade guns around.

Each of us must answer for himself whether or not it is worth while.
No, you don't have to keep a gun you buy with it. You just can't use it as a way of "dealing without a dealers license".
And, you must avoid the appearance of "dealing without a license". For example, I know of a couple of guys who like to buy 5 of the same type milsurp rifle (getting the quantity discount from the distributor), keep the best for themselves, & put the other 4 on a table to sell at a local gun show. Imagine how this looks to the fellas with the bulges in the cheap suits: 16-20 rifles on a table for sale, 3 or 4 of the same type, sure looks like dealing without a license.
You just need to use good judgement.

Even without buying a gun that qualifies as C&R, you can get great discounts at midway, brownells, etc. and that alone may make it worthwhile to you. 0 -
Cost breaks down to $10 a year. Record keeping is no more than you should do to cover your backside with or without a liscense. Well worth it in my opinion. The big problem is you will buy more guns and spend more money. 0 -

In a word, no. you can't. Now..
..carefully digest the posts above mine, and see if it's worthwhile to conduct casual business without attracting the attention of ATF!
We have to tread very carefully. Your opening statement demands such. And I, for one, won't feel comfortable giving you an outright 'yes' on a public forum whereby ATF, or any anti-gun entity can use my 'yes' to further an agenda.

It might depend upon your purpose in 'buying, selling and trading guns around.' If you are looking to improve a specific collection, say of Lugers, or '94 Winchesters then it might be worthwhile and you might not attract any attention. If you like to make a little profit while moving guns around, they you appear to be dealing without a license. Do you keep records of who you bought from, sold to, traded with? If you do not, a C&R will probably seem restrictive to you. 0 -

I got my C&R for collecting and my first C&R purchase paid for its cost by not having to pay for a FFL transfer; and even better, USPS delivered the firearm to my front door.0 -
Spirits- Midway. Brownells, Numrich, etc. Send them a copy of your 03, get registered with them. There are other wholesalers, such as Southern Ohio Gun you can register with. 0
