non slip hand grips?

Does anybody have any ideas as to what I can put on my laminated thumbhole stock to make it less slippery ,like maybe some kind of stick on pad? Any suggestions appreciated,but nothing that will take away from its beautiful looks. Thanx Gordon

  Grip tape like this can be picked up at your local hardware store and cut to size.
