Win 94 rear sight install
I put a Williams peep on my M-94 Trapper .44 a while back, and I had to take out the rear sight as it blocked some of the view. I hated the gap in the barrel so I just picked up a folder from Brownells. Now I can't remember if installing it is (from the top looking down) right side to left or left side to right.
Also, should I use a dab of CLP to help it slide in, or will that possibly make it wiggle loose easier?
Thanks for any help!

The site should be cut square, the slot in the bbl should have a slight taper. Looking down the bbl in shooting position try inserting the site from the right side. Lube is OK. 0 -
I thought R to L, but I wanted to make sure. Thanks. 0 -
Got it in, all looks good. 0 -
Why not a dovetail blank instead of a sight ? 0 -
I'm not a big fan of the dovetail blank, I have one on a Rem 721 and it's kinda blah. Honestly the folder isn't any better, but on the off chance I drop the gun and it wrecks the peep, I can unscrew the peep and the gun will still be functional. 0
