Benelli SBE & SBEII barrels - interchangeable?

I recently purchased an original Benelli SBE with an ER Shaw slug barrel. I am planing on selling the slug barrel and replacing it with a 24" or 26" 12 gauge shotgun barrel. I am not sure if barrels are interchangeable between the original SBE and the SBE II. They look similar but I want to be sure before buying one. Thanks!
