The problem is the new crappy ammo. Try other brands and styles, a spare mag or 5 is a good idea. Chances are they will need tuned to work well in your rifle. Make sure that it doesn't have a damaged chamber from excessive dry firing.

i had a ftf in one years ago, the nose of the bullet would hang up on the sharp edge of the chamber at 6 o-clock going in the chamber,i took a dremal and ground a little groove at the 6 o-clock posion. it would feed any thing after that. eastbank.

I worked on one awhile back that had similar problems.

First thing to do would be to try Mini Mag solids, they feed and function better then blunt nose hollow points.

Replacement/new magazine might also help. I had to tweak the lips of the mag I was working on to get it to feed better.

Since it has functioned satisfactorily in the past, I would try the two above remedies before proceeding further.

On the other hand, the one I was working on was so buggered up, I had fab a oversize mag latch pin, and chamfer the breech of the barrel before I could get it to function properly.

All above,,I just picked up one since I have not had one for a long time,,,ammo and mag ,,,,,solid nose works fine in this one,,but not Wildcats,,,Mags are a little tinny, so check the lips as already stated..I really like the concept of these.

    Good advice already given:

-40 grain round nose solid ammo works better than flat-nose 36 grain hollowpoint. That's probably the entire problem right there.

    -Tweaking mag lips might help.

-These guns are actually notorious for feeding problems. As mentioned, the issue is that there is no bullet guide to the chamber, and bullets can hang up on the bottom (sharp) edge. If you VERY slightly relieve/round that edge, that can greatly improve reliability.

My bro has one of those and the feed problems are a symptom of the design.
