Is this an original sling from a Rem 1903 rifle?

Was told by a gentleman that this came off his Remington 1903 rifle. It has steel frogs and can find no makers mark. The shape of the frogs seem quite different than any I have seen. Can anyone give me more information about this leather sling? Thanks.

  The leather looks too thin to be a GI item. The hooks are not like any of the hundreds of 1907 slings I have seen. The connecting link between the sling parts is not like what was on the 1907 slings. Sling being attached to the collecting link with brads is not military. That is an aftermarket copy of the 1907 sling. It quite likely was used on a 1903 rifle but not while in use of the US military.

  looks ALOT like the leather sling that came with my sako L579 (bought in europe).Yours has roughly same thickness, and SAME EXACT conectors.
  
  Not saying that yours is ^ that but looks liek the one that came with my sako
