i have a ruger blackhawk 3 screw with a D stamped n front of the serial number. what does this mean? gb Auction # 286760906

D means some were thru the factory the number was a duplicate 0 -
yep. factory error so the D is stamped so the sn remains unique. Some people collect D guns and they will have a premium over a non D gun 0 -
