Does it come with the 7" upper handguard? If not it would be very hard
    to locate one in walnut.

If it is complete in the condition you describe it would be more valuable than the laminate stocks that are priced at $120.00

IMO i would pay a fair price of $150, but the russian capture number on the lower left stock would not match the electro-stenciled number on your gun if it came that way. You may just want to replace a beat up stock and this would certainly work, good luck.

quote:Two Waffen stamps on the right hand side of the stock which are very crisp and are marked WaA655. Another one located on the underside and behind the trigger guard area.
Four numbers on the left side of the stock, which I have been told indicate Russian capture, but I do not know.
The gentleman has also told me that this stock would be 1938 or prior, but I am not sure. He also indicates this item as being a Mauser Oberndorf manufactured.
WaA655 would be JP Sauer and Son 1940
    WaA655 42 would be Mauserwerk Oberndorf 1938 - 41
Solid walnut with a flat buttplate would be 1939 and earlier, there are some with cupped plates
Those are RC numbers on the left side
