I knew both parents of Justin Clouse as they grew up. His parents were family friends and lived about 2 miles north of us and his older brother worked for me for a couple of years. Her parents lived about 2 miles south of us, and I worked for her father one summer.
I am embarrassed to say that this death is more painful to me than the 2,300+ others. He was killed as insurgents are gaining strength in Iraq, and as we release Taliban commanders in what appears to be preparation to return Afghanistan to the Taliban. Yes, grumpygy, we really do need to get them the hell out of Afghanistan.0 -
