    It a sight off a Remington. This type was used before Remington went to the sliding type blade. This was used about 1968 to
    the 1970's.

    I thought it looked like a remington but couldn't find it in the Remington section of Strobels book on sights. Thanks

    Remington's was similar to that, but that is not a Remington. I have several, and that is not it.

    Perhaps it is a version of the Remington, made by Marbles.

    It is Remington. I have three Rem 760's sitting here and all have that sight on them. Notice the white triangle on the rear. Dead give a way for Remington.

    One more thing. On page 19 of Remington auto-loading & pump action rifles by Eugene Myszkowski, he says this sight was introduced in 1960, to replace the one that fit in a dovetail. Was later
    changed to the sliding ramp style in 1975.
