Colt SAA Comstock Load?
Anyone hear of a Colt SAA Comstock Load, 1 of 50? My dealer is going to be getting a used one in.

If it has been used and doesn't come with all the original accessories, boxes, paperwork etc. It's value would be much diminished. I've seen guys that collect these commemoratives going over them with a magnifying glass looking the slightest imperfection.0 -
Note that this is a "special edition" that was sent out by some company or distributor for the custom cosmetic changes, as opposed to a "Colt commemorative" that was prepared, issued & cataloged by Colt.
In mint condition, special editions generally bring less than the "plain" version of the same gun.

No one who is trying to sell one is willing to start off at a low price & find what the REAL value is. I assume that your reason for posting this is that you are considering buying the gun from your dealer; if so, the GB completed listings for Colt SAAs will help you determine what a fair price would be.0 -

Once a commemorative falls into the shooter category, due to the fact that it has shown signs of use/action manipulation, then, yes.
The commemorative that hasn't been authorized by Colt, and is not completely new, immediately falls into the category of an un-adorned Colt as far as price is concerned.
