Because of the "old west" look, these sell better than the usual break-open old singles, and one sold recently on the auction side for over $400! But that's only one "bidder war" sample and I'd think $150-$175 would be more realistic. This one looks like it might have been cold blued? 0 -
Hopkins and Allen took over the Bay State Firearms CO. in the 1880's and continued producing their falling block rifles and shotguns. That's what yours is. It might add some value, although if it was a rifle instead of a shotgun, it would be a lot more salable. Most likely being a BP era gun got to be cautious with the ammo you fire in it. 0
