Browning B78 question
I have a 1970's Browning B78 single shot, heavy round barrel version in 30-06 that has a mis-stamped word on the barrel. Rather than CALIBER it is marked CALBER. Has anyone ever seen this on one and does this necessarily increase the value of it. Thanks for any info.

Unlike coins, where the value sometimes skyrockets due to a stamping error, the value of your rifle should be unchanged. On my B78 the word "CALIBER" is spelled correctly but it is a 22-250. Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on owning a really nice firearm. 0 -
Only if you can find someone who collects factory mistakes. At best, you might get a 5% value. 0 -
Thanks appreciate the info. 0
